And then just outside Palermo, Monreale and its UNESCO World Heritage Cathedral. Gobsmacked, speechless and just in awe to be stood in front of such magnificence. The views over Palermo are stunning and made me think about what they must have been like  one thousand years ago... So then we headed back to chaotic Palermo to experience the Mercato del Capo.... Palermo and Sicily condensed in a few hundred metres of pure electric, exciting, stall holders shouting in Sicilian dialect.... just around the corner the Cathedral of Santa Rosalia..... there is one photo that tells the tale of the many civilasations that reigned in Sicily.....
