
"10 NIGHTS IN SICILY": DAY 10 - SICILIAN GASTRONOMY EXPERIENCE & FAREWELL SICILY
When good things come to an end, that time of reflection comes, and so here we are.
Sicily a true multilayered cake, many different flavours, ingredients, toppings etc that make this region such an intricate, interesting place to visit, at any time of the year. The group of people we had the great pleasure and honour to accompany on this tour have been nothing short of fantastic. Always good fun to be with from beginning to the end. The end of the trip couldn't have been any better, with a culinary fun morning making Cannoli and Arancine, with a glass of two of bubbly, and squeezing in a deserved Birthday celebration with another traditional Sicilian gastronomic staple, The Cassata Siciliana...
Time to hop back on the bus for the long journey back with our great driver Alessandro who has guided us safely through Sicily. As we approach the ferry in Messina to cross the Straight, my heart fills of joy thinking back at the great time we all had in beautiful Sicily.
