Tour Program

DAY 1

Arrival in Riccione at your hotel and check in. Meet your Tour Assistant who will brief you about the itinerary. Time to relax either in the spa or you can take a light stroll, about 10 minutes, to one of the most famous streets in Italy, Viale Ceccarini. All the Christmas lights, the shops and boutiques, the bars with all the decorations on will really make you feel that true Christmas Spirit. In the evening at 7.30pm traditional dinner at the hotel restaurant.

 

DAY 2

Breakfast; This morning at 9.30 departure to visit the Republic of San Marino where the Christmas Markets will be in full swing. Many wooden kiosks selling crafts, handmade jewellery and unique artwork will line some of the cobbled streets of the Oldest Republic in the World. Of course, San Marino is also known for its Tax-Free shopping which could be very helpful to sort out your Christmas gift lists😊 We will have plenty of time to wander around and visit some of the most important historic sites, such as the towers from where incredible views can be admired towards the coast, the hills and the mountains. At 1.00pm we will have a sumptuous lunch in one of the best restaurants in San Marino famous for its local traditional cuisine. In the afternoon we will have more time free to enjoy this wonderful, unique town. Late afternoon return to your hotel and rest of the day and evening free for you to enjoy at your own leisure.

 

DAY 3

Breakfast; At 9.30 we will meet at the hotel foyer and walk to the train station to get the train to the Roman City of Rimini. (about 15 minutes journey). During this weekend the historic centre already sparkling with the mesmerising Christmas lighting and decoration displays, will host a large art & craft market with hundreds of small independent artisans selling their unique works of art. The Train station is just 10 minutes’ walk from the city centre. Rimini was built by the Romans and it was a very important centre for commerce as it was strategically located and where the main Roman roads met. We will walk through the iconic Augustus Arch, the 2nd century A.D. Roman Domus (the surgeon house), the beautiful Cathedral and the Malatesta Palace. We will have time free to wander around the market, shops, boutiques, and to find a place to enjoy a spot of lunch. We will then meet back at the station in time for our return train to Riccione. In the evening, we will enjoy a traditional Pizza & Birra in a microbrewery pub overlooking the harbour of Riccione.

 

DAY 4

Breakfast; today we will enjoy a day of relaxation in the SPA for some me time. Recommended a nice stroll along the amazing promenade to the harbour, enjoy the buzzing, exciting atmosphere of Riccione Christmas Village for that last Christmas bargain. Enjoy an aperitivo in one of the historic and trendy bars in Viale Ceccarini, and at 6.00pm we will all watch the traditional ceremony of the switching on of the Christmas Tree lights. In the evening good bye dinner at the hotel restaurant.

 

DAY 5

4 nights in double room comfort in 4* Hotel Select Suites & SPA, free entry at the SPA from 10.00am to 16.00pm, 2 dinners with wine at the hotel restaurants, 1 lunch including wine at bespoke restaurant in San Marino, 1 Pizza & Beer dinner at microbrewery in Riccione, transport for the excursion to San Marino, return train ticket for the day in Rimini, 1 guided tour with local expert, Hotel City Tax.

Price not include

Flights, Train tickets from your location to the Hotel in Riccione, beauty treatments and massages at the hotel SPA, any extra consumed at the hotel bar or from the minifridge in your room, tips to member of staff are at your discretion (though remember in restaurant there is already about €3 per person service charge added to your bill), any other extra, entrance to sites of interest, and anything that has not specifically mentioned in “The Price Include” paragraph.

Practical advices

Spring to Autmn trip we recommend you bring factor 30+ sun protection, sun hat, mosquito repellent, beach wear, light jumper/sweater, water proof.
Late Autumn and Winter sensible warm clothing, comfortable walking/trainer shoes necessary for some activities are advisable.

Passucci International Travel srl requires a 30% deposit (non-refundable) upon booking and full settlement 7 days prior your arrival.
It is a Passucci International Travel srl requirement that you, prior booking your holiday, will make us fully aware of any food allergies, intolerances or any other medical condition you might suffer of.
Travel Insurance is not included but required for all our trips, and should be taken out at time of booking. Images used may not reflect your actual tour experience.
